One of the questions I got asked recently, is whether or not a white man would date a black woman if she has short hair. While it will vary from person to person (everyone has different tastes after all), yes, there are a lot of white men out there that would date short haired black women.
I mean, why wouldn’t they? There are plenty of white women out there who have short hair, but they still get men falling all over them. Black women are no different. Long hair or short, there are men out there who will be attracted to you!
Now don’t get me wrong, there are some people out there who aren’t as keen on black women with short hair. For example (even though it wasn’t a white guy who said this), Jennifer Williams was told that her natural hair was “keeping her from a man.” What do I have to say to that? Well, that’s one person’s opinion.
I have multiple relatives who have short hair, some natural, some styled. And guess what? The majority of them have men! Only two of them are white, but the point remains:
Short hair on black women won’t stop you from getting a man! – Tweet This.
Hair is just one of the many features which could attract or (for the lack of a better word) repel a guy. The next white guy you meet could be attracted to short hair on black women, but not be so keen on tall women. The guy after may not be too keen on short hair, but really like tall women. The third man you meet might be not fussy when it comes to hair length, as long as you get along well with them.
As I mentioned, there is someone for everyone out there, no matter your hair style. So know that you can find yourself a white man however you decide to keep your hair.
Of course, I can sit here and write about what I’ve found all day. But what I really want to do is hear your point of view! Are you a black woman with short hair? And if you used to have longer hair (natural or otherwise), have you found there’s been a difference in the amount of white men attracted to you before and after? Let me know in the comments.
